STX is exporting small, midsized and special-purpose military vessels for naval forces of Central and South American countries based on strategical collaboration with major Korean shipbuilders. The military vessel venture is also expanding into Southeast Asian, Middle Eastern, African and CIS states, while STX is pursuing diversity in offerings in the defense industry such as military vehicles and weapons.

Leveraging the global network, STX is supplying diesel engines for primary and auxiliary propulsion of vessels and power plants. STX is actively participating in supplying power plants in the form of container modules and modernizing older power plants in strategic markets such as central and south America.

Through collaboration with Korea’s primary car manufacturers and suppliers of special vehicles, STX is pursuing exporting businesses to the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

The need for future transportation systems and modes of transportation due to worldwide greenhouse gas reduction efforts and regulation on fuel mileage has sparked active engagement in developing eco-friendly personal mobility solutions. STX is striving to pioneer the international market for personal mobility products made in Korea, such as electric bikes and scooters.

Along with specialized businesses in various fields in Korea and around the world, STX is providing foreign exporting services of specialized medical devices and healthcare products.

STX is conducting a package project to develop the Republic of Congo’s underground waters by the EPC (engineering, procurement & construction) method. In addition, STX is actively engaging in discussions on underground water development projects with other African countries besides Congo.
