Also, STX is preparing the advance in hydrogen generation, connected smart farms, carbon capture and utilization technologies, and AI-based smart grid management systems, through continuous research and development efforts., as well as building the foundation of collaboration by signing MOU with relevant partners such as Doosan Fuel Cell and Sogang University, in order to proactively respond to the transition into the hydrogen-based economy.
Hydrogen Generation-Connected Smart Farm
In cooperation with Doosan Fuel Cell, STX is preparing a complex business leveraging hydrogen power generation that maximizes the energy efficiency of hydrogen generation, with the business model that associates a business to supply heated water necessary for managing smart farms, by utilizing the heat sources actively that are produced as a by-product of power generation using hydrogen fuel cells.
Industrial-Academic Cooperation Related to AI and Smart Grid
STX is preparing the commercialization of next-generation technologies through the development of the energy management system for the energy industry utilizing AI-based smart grid and energy storage systems by joint research projects with Sogang University, development of the next-generation security system incorporating radar technology and smart valves utilizing big data, and development technology of valve and equipment for hydrogen through tripartite cooperation with PK Valve, the STX subsidiary.
